Monsanto Legal Notice
Seed Piracy Prevention
Seed containing the Roundup® Ready trait or any Monsanto patented trait, (including corn, soybeans, and alfalfa) cannot be saved for replanting. All Roundup® Ready soybean or alfalfa seed is protected under U.S. patents, including Patent No. 5,352,605. Saving Roundup® Ready soybean or alfalfa seed or any other patented seed for planting or transfer to others for use as planting seed is a violation of these patents and is illegal.
You may use another glyphosate herbicide, but only if it has been approved for use over Roundup® Ready crops, and have been labeled for the use by all required governmental agencies. Monsanto does not make any represenetations, warranties or recommendations covering the use of glyphosate products from other companies which are labeled for use over Roundup® Ready crops. Monsanto specifically disclaims all responsibility for the use of these products in Roundup® Ready crops. Note: To qualify for Roundup RewardsTM benefits, labeled Roundup agricultural herbicides are the only systemic, non-selective herbicidess which may be used for burndown or in-crop applications on any Monsanto trait crop on your farm. See a Roundup Rewards brochure for full details.
