The Producers Hybrids Story
We come from humble beginnings. The Producers Hybrids story began in Battle Creek, NE in 1987, when a small group of Midwest seedsmen came together with a like-minded vision: to develop a seed company based on the basic principles of respect for people, integrity in business, and fairness to the farmer.

Farmers responded to our quality seed and penchant for service. Producers Hybrids grew quickly, eventually selling products in seven Midwestern states and becoming one of the top 15 seed companies in the U.S.

In 2005, Producers Hybrids made a move that would provide customers with a broader base of genetics while ensuring that our small-company values would remain intact. We joined with AgReliant® Genetics—the largest non-chemical seed business and the fourth largest seed company in the U.S.

Today, Producers Hybrids’ customers have access to seed genetics and technology on a global scale, adapted and fine-tuned to meet the rigorous demands of growers in the western Corn Belt. You’ll find our dealers in seven states: South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado, and Kansas.
